GRACE Marketplace Partners with The Repurpose Project
The partnership will improve furniture accessibility for people moving back into housing.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – GRACE Marketplace has partnered with the Repurpose Project as
furniture partners to improve accessibility to furniture and household goods for housed guests.
GRACE will no longer accept furniture donations at the GRACE campus, starting March 1,
2022. All furniture donations will be deferred to Reuse Planet, the Repurpose Project location at
1540 NE Waldo Road in Gainesville. The Repurpose Project will provide GRACE with gift cards
and furniture delivery. The partnership between GRACE and The Repurpose Project will allow
GRACE to consistently provide necessary furniture to individuals exiting homelessness.
“It is a dream come true to be able to help our recently rehoused population access the furniture
they need while also furthering our missions of protecting our planet and saving precious
resources. We are looking forward to providing excellent customer service as we help our newly
rehoused friends make houses into homes with the perfect furniture that fits their needs and
tastes,” Sarah Goff, Co-Founder & Executive Director of The Repurpose Project said.
GRACE Marketplace is a one-stop homeless resource center serving Gainesville and Alachua
County. We provide services for anyone experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our services
include emergency shelter, permanent housing, showers, hot meals, storage, case
management, job training, and providing space to our partners to provide health care and other
services. GRACE Marketplace is an independent, local 501(c)(3) organization.
